American Fork Canyon Trails

SINGLE TRACK IS OPEN TO

American Fork Canyon has an incredible trail system that is shared by hikers, horseback riders, mountain bikers, and motorized users.  Motorized users must yield to all other users especially on crowded days.  Horseback riders are generally the most stubborn about sharing the trail so I take notice of horse trailers in the parking lot to determine my chances of a conflict.  I carry a current travel map to prove the trail is open and am extra courteous when encountering other users.  There will be less users the farther away from pavement you get.  Also keep in mind most of these trails are very technical and often run along steep side hills.
Horseback Riders TAKE NOTE:  This Trail is open TO MOTORCYCLES!!!!
